unforgettable moments in church camp:
(S, this sounds familiar?)
-sharing my heart's thoughts with Sherlyn. it meant alot. i was praying for a friend who would listen to me (:
-eating desert with Jean
-charissa smiling, me smiling back to her
- loving this girl more -
"have you ever wondered what this life holds for you...all the troubles that run through your mind..."-seeing Sherlyn so excited and happy with Clement
-Anna and Lian Kuang got to talk things in their hearts at the balcony...
-reading God's words in the early morning 6am. refreshed.
-the sky before me. the splendid lighting up of the sky from 6am...til 7am.. it was beautiful. God always have the most breathtaking artworks.
-the yearning and pain in his eyes.....
-that sorrow in her eyes...
-sorting out thoughts in my heart, about family, about friends.
-playing the c4 games! i think jane and jimmy did a very very good job
-seeing felicia lead us in songs, listening to her prayers...
-listening closer to this verse: God will never leave nor forsake me.
before me, there's a great challenge. I was very upset with Dad's words before the camp. Before I went to church on sunday, I walked myself to science park. up the long flight of stairs an unfit girl like me wouldn't usually bother climbing. there was a big space that the stairs led to, with no one. twice have I gone there alone, with a sinking heart, with a tear stained face. I didn't know what to do then. I could only think of dad's words...which only spurred the tears on.
I can tell he's still not very happy yet. But one thing I know. He loves me. He always does. One day he'll understand Jesus loves him. Before that day comes, maybe years, maybe decades, I will need to cope with school, church, family and friends when august arrives.
to boo, thanks for the note. (: (:
